Very nice hotel, 10 minute walk to downtown. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a good visit. The room is pretty nice. The deceratione is fantastic. The bathroom is very big and comfortbale.Staff was excellent there was rtenovations happening but you would not know room was supurb. They have free WiFi connection over all hotel, but it does not work propertly. I hope they fix it soon. What have they done to the original style of the hotel?! This used to be a real gem in the heart of Europe but since the 'refurbishment' it's now just another boutique hotel, all dark browns, blacks and greys. It's lost all of the individuality that used to make it stand out, the 'soul' that differentiates a great hotel from just a good one. Please, leave the original bedrooms untouched!. The room was facing a very frequented bar. no internet access in lobby or my room. The dinner service was slow, cold and bad value. The pictures on website did not reflect the room that we were given. Very disappointed. In my reservation I made note that we required two beds for two ladies travelling together. Our room turned out to have a open layout bathroom. Not appropriate for two ladies.We booked a Junior Suite but were given a lower grade room. There was some hassle and eventually they moved us to a Suite (once the offensive smell in the room had been dealt with). Empty glasses and bottles were not cleaned up by housekeeping and there was only 1 of a number of items in the room (including bathrobe and glasses). Not warm or welcoming decor and far more style than substanstance.
