Staff friendly an efficient, bedrooms and public rooms spotlessly clean, restaurant meals of high standard with good selection of local recipes. Beers as you would expect excellant. Plenty of car parking available free. good choice of menu for evening meals. Terrific restaurant, nice breakfast room. Clean, comfortable and good food.Clean and simple. The room was small but comfortable and quiet and excellent for a short stop over. We liked the proprietors ecological philosophy. The beer brewed on the premises was great and the free beer tokens were a nice thought. The smoked meats were exceptional too. Our request for rooms together on the quieter side was granted although the hotel was not busy.
