The family who run Tavo House are some of the nicest people I have ever met! They will help you in any way they can and become your best friend while doing it.

The owner and his wife were so kind and considerate. When he discovered I was learning Korean, he tried his best to encourage me to speak and even brought me to his local cafe for a meal, where nobody spoke English. His wife made the most wonderful breakfasts on both of the days I was there. If I ever travel to Gyeongju again, this is the house I would choose to stay in.

Location: it was close to the main center of Gyeonggu which means you did not have to travel far for the bus. Also, it was close to fast food, convenient stores, and some big hills that were nice to walk around at night.
He had maps in Korean and English displaying where to go. It was easy to see the things I wanted to see with them.

The hostel was super close to shops, food and historical sites. The bus terminal was also within walking distance, and the entire area was foreigner friendly. The hostel itself was cosy and clean. It was like a little home away from home.

Such a warm, friendly, and knowledgable owner! She gave me great suggestions for which tour to take, where to ride my bike, and where to have the best coffee. Her breakfast of homemade bread and jam made me feel right at home. I'll definitely stay here again. -

Cute traditional house. Rooms are clean, well maintained with tv and
aircon. Its provided with korean futon and pillow stuffed with barley.
So you need to like sleeping on the floor! Kitchen is provided with
fridge, water, egg and bread which is really nice only 4 rooms available
so you feel almost like in a private house
