What people say
The room was very large for Japan with a western style bathroom. The Japanese breakfast was lovely and very well presented with a little flaming oven for a local specialty. The western breakfast was quite adequate. The rooftop onsen is new and very well set up. The hotel provides kimonos in the rooms.
This hotel is older but has all the amenties is manly a Japanese hotel
but we where happy its very close to station (rail ) and to Takayama but
if you want supermarkets you have to go to the other side of the Bridge
where the main locals live I personally loved it more than Kyoto. all reviews »
Nice hot-spring bath in top floor. The breakfast was served by the table and you could choose Japanese or Western style. We had Japanese and was fully satisfied.
Clean and comfortable with very helpful manager. Well located near the
station and walk to city attractions.
Convenient location, spacious room and free wifi inside the room.
Staff and location are good.
room size
quiet.
This property is probably 20 years old and shows a few signs of wear. Internet access is free but only by cable outside of the lobby.
No wi fi but had internet.
The road from railway station lacked pavements parts of the distance, and after dark it felt a bit... Not so unusual in Japan, though.
The doors ofthe room and the toilet sre too short.
dingy (although clean on the surface).
Lobby definitely needs cleaning/refurbishment.
