  This ryokan is certainly out of the way but between 2pm and 5pm you can have a free pickup from the Fujisan station about 15 min by car away. You can also go by the regular Fujikyu buses. It is a small ryokan and not very spectacular as far as ryokans go, but it certainly has a welcome and homey feel to it which easily makes it an excellent option... what people say » to stay at. The dinner is top-notch and absolutely worth the price tag, make sure to order it. You can make private use of the inside bathroom in the - the host family was welcoming and friendly, the lady was even speaking english properly. great experience to be welcomed in a really traditional japenese-style accomodation (ryokan). food, freshly prepared by the host (and chef at the same time) was georgeous!

  The onsen baths were great, very clean and with a lovely view of Fuji. The hotel rooms were very neat. Staff was polite. Location was lovely, with a place for a morning walk, etc.

  I did like everything, environment, the house, the facilities, how welcome we felt when we arrived and during the stay... Very good explanation in English, we did enjoy a lot, I wished I could stay longer but have to go back home.... Mr. Hada is very helpfull. It is a real Japanese experience. The bathrooms are are realy nice. Big warm bath tubs (japanese style). The free bicycles (if you stay more than one nigth) are great to explore the biggest lake of the five lakes. The hiking is a real adventure. Lake yamanako gives great views of mount fuji. ZERO-Project Japan guesthouse is a great place to stay!

  I love everything about this hotel. Our room has a good view of Mt. Fuji. It is very clean and gives a generous amount of toiletries such as shaving cream,toothbrush, headband and mouthwash. There is free coffee from 7-9:30 am. Train to Fuji-Q is just 3 minutes walk. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious. We had a view of both Mt. Fuji and FujiQ from our bedroom.
