Although we weren't sure what to expect booking this hotel as it was new and didn't really have reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. First of all, the owner family is very friendly and helpful. They gave
as a lot of recommendations what to do and explore in the area. The
house is brand new and located nicely in the forest of Naka Karuizawa.
It's a good starting point for bike riding in the area, even
there's a little hill to climb when coming form the station. The
twin room we stayed had typical size for Japanese hotel and was fully
equipped. And there is a small patio in front of the rooms to enjoy the
nature and quietness

Chris and Noriko are fantastic and helpful hosts! In the car when Chris picked us up from bus stop, we knew we will have a wonderful time in Karuizawa!
