Huge room with lots space and storage. Great for a family. Complete with kitchen. Limited underground parking for smaller car, luckly we had a Mito rental car so no prob. Great location right next to the old castel Vecchio and roman door, and blocks away from city centro. If you are looking for 4 star hotel, this is not what you are looking for, otherwise you may appreciate the extra space which is rare in this part of the world ;).
all reviews » From arrival to departure the staff were excellent and helpful, all reception staff spoke good English. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a continental buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel is close to the old city centre and is close to the arena. Top floor suite has a wonderful view of Castlevecchio and the Verona sky line. Quiet, calm and a lovely retreat. The sunsets and sun rises are incredible. The staff is incredibly helpful and patient with my bad Italian. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The room was massive with lots of space. Staff extremely friendly and helpful in responding to my enquiries. Central Verona is not big, but pretty much all the sights are in easy walking distance as are bars/restaurants. A nice variety of pastries at breakfast. Excellent location: in the city centre, close to Arena. Excellent very helpful staff. 24-Hour reception and room service. The room was very spacious and comfortable with climate control system, kitchen facilities, well-equipped bathroom, etc. Perfect location for the Arena di Verona and the rest of this lovely town. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful!! Would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Great location. Booked parking which is a must if driving. The shower in the bathroom was a little antiquated. No English language TV - not even CNN!. The room was far from the reception and we had to use two elevators (one of them very old and small where one person with luggage could hardly get in) and several small stairs to go there. But it was nothing as regards the positive side. Bathroom could benefit from a shower curtain. Nothing. Having to pay for the parking. Very poor breakfast. :-(. The breakfast was probably the worst we have had in all our travels, given it was quite expensive to stay there and that it was a 3 star hotel. Although we had a kitchen there was no coffee maker or cafetiere. Kitchen needed a makeover - it didn't match the quality of the room. Beds Little Old. sofA is better. The interior is quite old and would need a refurbishment soon. damaged parquet in the room under the air con. Absence of parking. Small rooms, with tasteless furniture. Some rooms are smelly. Beds is good but sofa isn't good for sleep. Too utilitarian. Rooms had no charm. The picture of set table near river is deceptive. Stairs corridors and room dirty. Forgot to clean up the room and staff rang up insisting during Pm. Rest. Breakfast really poor. Everything else.
