They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.

We even showed our literature we had to the pilot of our aeroplane coming home who was looking for a nice hotel for his daughter ti stay!

Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes! All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted - lots of choice and hot and cold options.
