Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street).
Room - clean and cozy.
Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included).
Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.)
Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.
All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

walking around a building where we catch our shuttle, people's mover

Coming from the airport by bus around 9pm, this hotel was close to the
drop off point which was useful with roller suitcases. We were greeted
by a friendly man who made us welcome and up-graded our room to one that
overlooked the canal. It was great waking up to the canal boats going
about their business, after we had enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep.
Although simply furnished the room was clean and quaintly old-world with

The hotel is very well located. It is very close form the train station and a couple steps from the bus and taxi station. You can easily reach San Marco by foot and easily get back by boat. It was really great staying in this hotel. The personell was very nice and kind. Special thanks to Georgio and Irina, they were very great. Great hotel really.

We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Excellent location. Very close to the Grand canal and within easy walking distance of all the sites. Excellent facilities within a small space, very large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full size cooker. Beautiful main bedroom finished with net drapes making the bed look like a four poster!!
