The location of the hotel was great. It was minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge, all the cafes and restorantes, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, good value for money. Hotel is in great location close to centre of Venice and Rialto Bridge. Easy walking to everywhere that we wanted to go.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Sharing a bathroom was ok for me because I rise early but others mightfind this difficult. Venice is very expensive so I guess you get what you pay for.In a country hotel in Australia you would expect to pay 25 to 30 Euros for such a room - but then it would not have Venice outside the door.Bathrooms were small tacky plastick and took 5 to 10 minutes for the hot water to come through. I would expect more for £130 (170 euros) a night?. breakfast selection limited. no parking place :))). A minor concern. The room we had backed on to the canal and was noisy in the morning with delivery boats but this was compensated later by the gondoliers practising their songs!.

- You can reach St. Mark’s square by crossing the lagoon on the public Alilaguna boats, which leave every hour and travel to San Zaccaria.
- From San Zaccaria, walk along Mercerie Dell’ Orologio street which begins under the watch tower, and continue towards Rialto.
- When you near the end of this street, turn on right and at the second street turn right again.
- Cross a small bridge and you will find yourself in Campo Della Fava where the hotel is located.

- Alternatively, you can take bus number 5 from the airport terminal, which leaves for Piazzale Roma every 20 minutes.
- Once you are in Piazzale Roma, head towards Gran Canal, where you can take boat number 82 to Rialto. The ticket costs approximately EUR 1.
- Alight at Rialto, and continue on to campo (square) San Bartolomeo.
- Continue straight on and after less than 100 meters you will reach a small bridge.
- Cross this and you will find yourself in Campo Della Fava.

By Train:
From Venezia San Lucia station:
- You will see boat line number 82 to Rialto on your left as you leave the station.
- Alight at Rialto, and continue on to campo (square) San Bartolomeo.
- Continue straight on and after less than 100 meters you will reach a small bridge.
- Cross this and you will find yourself in Campo Della Fava.
