  During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). The hotel is close to a bus stop (orange/ red buses into town and the train station, blue Sita buses to Amalfi an Positano). We, - The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

  My wife and I have traveled fairly extensively. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the finest hotel we have ever stayed in. It is certainly possible to find more expensive hotels. But the staff -- and it does make an incredible difference -- was deeply warm and welcoming, and helped us out during a transportation snafu. Ac, Raffaele, and Mar - We had four days in Sorrento and was very happy with our choice in Hotel Regina. My advice would be to choose a room with a full view as the view of the water and Mt. Vesuvius was a delight. The view from the breakfast room is also truly gorgeous, making eating twice as good. There is no restaurant available for other meals but not an issue for us as plenty of little restaurants in Sorrento to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cant understand some of the comments on the LetsBookHotel.com site about distance from town - my 12 year old daughter had no problem walking this and there is a hotel bus that makes transfers at regular times. Prior to our arrival they arranged a private van tour of the Amalfi Coast for our group of 8. The rooms were extremely clean. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a sea facing room which was much appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers everything you could want!   I had booked the hotel online and didn't really know what to expect. The staff was outstanding in every way. They greeted us warmly and made us feel as if we had just come home. They offered to help make arrangements for tours and gave great recommendations for restaurants. If we needed anything they were there to assist us.   The location is fantastic and the staff was more than helpful. Also, the breakfast/brunch is very good. - We choose the panoramic view with large balcony and while it was more expensive than a standard room, it have us a huge balcony which had sun all day long with some shade. Lovely luxury.

  The Staff are incredible helpful, a lovely hotel in a prime loctaion yet very quite, comfortable room and fantastic facilites, would highly recommend and would stay again - The outside areas were lovely and relaxing and the location was great. The staff couldn't be nicer and were very discreet.

  The building itself and the blue harmony, the wonderful garden, the huge swimming pool with salted water, the beach, the delicious eating and last but not least the quality of service - The views across the bay were excellent. Staff were very courteous. The lunch at the beach restaurant was the best that I had during my whole 2 week stay in Italy!

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent
