A pleasant oasis with a spectacular view of the historic walled hill town of San Gimignano, I Pini has lots to offer and is very good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful, letting us check in early despite the fact that they are also working in the vineyards during the day. We wandered around town and then relaxed by the pool enjoying a bottle of wine made on the estate. In the evening we walked the 1/2 km back into town and enjoyed some of the best Tuscan food of our trip at a resta.

I loved this place. Everything was superb. Swimmingpool is situated next to the olive trees and has a great view to San Gimignano. You can drink their own wine from I Pini and relax in beautiful scenery. Also breakfasts were very good- specialy pancakes with cinnamon;). Our holiday at I Pini was excellent, we were very satisfied and hope to come back again. Great location, helpful staff, nice breakfast, everything very clean and comfortable. San Gimignano was just a nice walk from the hotel and had the best ice cream in the world!. It was such a picturesque place ,set on the hillside opposite San Gimignano and surrounded in olive groves and vineyards. We enjoyed taking our breakfast outside and sitting on the patio and being surrounded by such lovely views. a terrific place just far enough away from the San Gimignano. Very helpful and friendly owners. Comfortable place with a great piscine and a stunning view of the landscape and town. Go there!. Beautiful scenery, rolling hills with vineyards and olive trees. 20 minute walk to the walled city. Staff very nice. Very quiet location if you want to relax! Nice pool. Everything is very new and nice. Road from i Pini to the center of San Gimignano isn’t easy. It’s a bit up the hill and it’s rocky. If you have a car it’s not a big problem. The only thing we missed was a small refrigerator in rooms where we could keep some food on the days we wanted to stay by the pool at I Pini. Ceiling fan only in room and was a bit noisy to run all night. So got a bit hot during the night as no air conditioning. Our gps did not find it so a sign on the street corner would have been helpful (near the square). The ventilation in the room was poor. Difficult to sleep when it is so hot - can only be done with the windows and doors wide open. Nothing. The relation price - agrotourism offer is poor. Maybe wine or oil tasting as a part of the booking could make the difference, if not is only a countryside house.
