The location was excellent. Charming hotel in peaceful location below the main town. Lovely family atmosphere, comfortable rooms and garden with superb views to relax in after the hubbub of the town. Large car park. Five minutes walk uphill to nearest gate into old area. Evening meals enjoyable and good breakfast selection.

Hotel staff kindness. Good location, easy to find. Wide and confortable room. overly friendly staff - we arrived at midnight and they were very accommodating to our late arrival - fantastic location - EASY walk to town and back. Awesome hotel. The evening meal menu was a bit limited, needed more vegetable and salad selection.the beds were a little uncomfortable and the shower needs to be updated.Liked everything, but on the expensive side.The air conditioning did not work all that well, but it is Italy in late June high in Tuscany, so it is hard to find any faults.hot and cold water was changing by itself in the shower. Did not like the bathtub/shower (old and hard to get in to it). The shower was very poor. It went from normal temperature to scalding and then to ice cold without warning.This could be dangerous.Everything a little dated especially the shower/bath. It was a bit out of town and we were not expecting this. Rooms need upgrade.
