For those who don't like to walk, there is a metro station only 250m away. - This was the cheapest, best stay in Rome I have ever had. Great and quiet neighborhood, interesting and quirky place to stay--like sleeping at your lawyer's very nicely decorated office. Good location for Vatican. Nice selection of guidebooks which we used. Check out the local neighborhood dining options close-by!

  My girlfriend and I booked a room in Esedra mainly because of its good location, 10min walk from Termini, 15min from Trevi Fountain area and 2min from the nearest metro station. The room was pretty neat, really clean, the bathroom was one of the nicest we had in Italy, it had a massage shower, which was pretty cool. We spent our stay in Rome partying, so we enjoyed the 24h free coffee machine the next day a lo - The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Being an easy walk from the train stations was also a big plus.

  Our rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Coffee and juice and pastry was served, for a simple breakfast. Neighborhood is very nice and a short walk to the train station. We would return and/or recommend this hotel to an - Staff is really friendly, helped to us so much. Even gave map and a lot of times showed on it what we must see and how we can walk. Room is so good for this money, its big and all from natural wood. On floor 4 or 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms, it is so comfortable too. Location is so good: nearly railway station, 20 minutes walk to Coliseum.

We had a glitch with our cell service and did not have access to our own phone on the trip so this was very helpful. Room was great! Clean, homey, attractively decorated, comfortabl... I walked over 4 blocks to find someone who would help me call him -- he answered the phone call and my rescuer worked out getting me in.
