The level of service in this hotel was very high from the moment we checked in after our long flight from Canada to the help we received from the concierge regarding the transportation for the next leg of our trip. The room was extremely comfortable with generous closet space and a wonderful large bathroom. The room was cleaned in the morning and then there was a further freshening up in the evening. The hotel is filled with interesting modern art. Above all, the location is perfect - close.

Loved this place. The breakfast is a bit expensive. Dim lighting in rooms Beds too soft Some "superior" rooms are tiny and those with communicating doors to next room let in excessive noise and are overall a bad value. As I am not a big eater in the morning we only had breakfast once. As there was no bread on the Continental I asked the waiter if I could have noe toasted piece of bread with my tea and muffin. This I had to pay 30€ for wich I find horrendeus. And if the breakfast was included in the price its still only average. Breakfast was not included with the price of the room Television was not very user friendly. Nothing. The staff was very slow. Did not appreciate the remarks from staff that I shop a lot. The ambiance was cold. No one greeted you at the front door. The brevity of my stay, regret not staying longer!. nothing. A room with no view, for the price paid. TV behind a mirror is a bad idea to say the least, since the TV has no more contrast and colors are dimmed. The lounge TV should have sky and not the other way around. Those day you have to have internet TV through VPN and not old fashion Sky cable network. It seems that Technology is not the forte of the Brand. There is no bar at the roof garden, only sitting table, what a pity. You couldn't get dinner reservations. It was always full with people from the outside . If you showed up for drinks and dinner they were full. As we were in a long trip in Europe, we had quite good quantity of lugagge. Our room had few spaces to organize all our clothes. Breakfast is very poor. In the restaurant no seat for a small child. The bathrooms, very cold and I didn't like the products used. Staff is cold and aloof and desperately needs training in how to treat and manage guests. By the way, the roof top terrace was closed our entire 5 day stay even though the weather was perfect. Both nights we were there we were told we could not use the rooftop bar because it was closed for private parties. The first night, the restaurant and lobby bar were closed. We were told the hotel has outsourced management of the food service and had no control. Very disappointing b/c the rooftop looked really nice. Smell of the hotel entrance and all around!. They don't have 24 hour hot food, they shouldn't call their self 5 star.
