For instance, he didn't know himself but took the trouble to find out the location of a nearby drop-off laundry for us.

Location is excellent! Right at the top of Via Del Corso with many shops and eateries and walking distance to all major attractions but quiet considering the location. Our room had 4 windows in the corner of the building on the second floor. All double glazed. Large fridge. Hotel is in a delightful shopping area, close to all the major site, the Coliseum, the Panthanon, Spanish Steps. The room itself was a good size with room for 3 of us staying in the triple. Nice little breakfast in the morning too. I liked my bathroom. The room was very small, but to be expected. Most of the staff was pleasant. The hotel was very close to the Spanish Steps and walking distance from the Trevi Fountain. The place is very clean, love the luxurious breakfast spread. My American soul wanted granola for breakfast and they only stocked corn flakes. If you want a French (Italian?) breakfast of brioche, salami and good cheese that's your place. Regardless, they'll make you a Cappucino and/or expresso. Only Italian language channels on tv. Drains smelt in bathroom. No kettle in room. Breakfast poor. Can't say there was anything I didn't like. I didn't like that the front desk was not a real 24 hr service. I felt like I was waking them up when I couldn't use my key. Make sure all your keys are the right keys before leaving. The lift is too small, difficult to transport luggages. Shower cubicle is tiny, user has to be creative to fit oneself. Nothing to dislike about this hotel. Lift too small. A little loud at night!. The building is ancient and prestigious but poor maintenance and management take away much of the charm ... I could hear peoples voices from outside the door.. More privacy is a must. They ask me to check out 11:30, but on the website it says 12:00 check out. the streets below noisy but the windows have really good double glazing. very small elevator and breakfast options are very limited. Room offered was not what I booked. Lift wasn't working and hasn't been for some time (2nd floor unit so this was a major issue).
