The location was within 1 block of St. Peters Square - you couldn't be any closer. The history of the area and the rest of the city is overwhelming. You ask "am I really here"? Fabio was very personable and gave us recommendations of where to eat that were close to the hotel as well as how to get to the sites. The room was clean, comfortable and decorated in a contemporary but subtle style. It was quiet on the 4th floor and there was a small elevator. The bathroom was large with a rainforest sh.

The room was very well appointed and absolutely sparkling clean. The Relais Vatican View is a stone throw away from the Vatican! The staff was always very friendly and helpful, especially with recommendation for local restuarants! The Hotel is quite expensive because of the location but it is convenient to visit Vatican City in the morning and at night. If Breakfast was included it would not seem so pricey. I do feel fortunate however for the price that we paid at around $300 per night since I saw that the price went up when I looked closer to the day we arrived (like doubled and tripled). I have no negative issues, at all. The elevator is very small. i am obese and nobody is thinking about obese people . Not enough toiletries left as they were used they were not replace.Room extemely compact although fine for the amount of time spent in it. weather could have been warmer and dryer. Nothing. The lift has small room, enough for a person and a medium luggage only. my room was very noisy if window open. Ac was nt working for the first night whole night room had lot if traffic noise. deodorizer in hallway was awful. the lift does not come to bottom floor. Nothing. parking garage nearby but expensive. Wireless connection was a bit weak. loved rome drawbacks would not get a taxi from termini to airport very bad element trying to get you into there taxis a lot of arguing at front line wife felt threatened bad finish to weekend, also been a lot of citybreaks, people trying to get you into restaurants in some cases pushy in the extreme. nothing.
