A chauffeur service from the airport was a welcome additional service. The apartment was opened for us on arrival. This has not been the case at other apartments I have stayed at in Europe. Our host provided a helpful introduction to the apartment and the local neighbourhood. It is in a great location. It is an easy walk to metro stations and the sites of Ancient Rome. A washing machine was a welcome addition after travelling for a couple of weeks. We didn't need a clothes dryer, because the we. all reviews »
friendly welcome service (our plane arrived late, and we arrived at the apartment past midnight - no complaint, no extra charges).
We broke a lamp, but it was no problem at all.
"Viminale" is an excellent location (also friendly and helpful neighbors - not seedy at all, as somebody wrote).
Many sights within a short walking distance (colloseo, foro Romano, etc.).
Nearby Metro gets you quickly and cheaply (1.50 euro for age 12 and up) to Vatican city.
We arrived from Sydney pretty tired so needed a great first day. The host, Valeria, was wonderfully helpful and flexible. The location is ideal, with the Colosseum a block away, next to the metro and bus, so we could access Rome effortlessly.
The apartment is spotless, secure and well set up. Highly recommended by us. Walk down through the university into Monti for lovely restaurants and a buzzy nightlife.
Very much appreciate the Client Service Manager response in identifying
all minute details in the apartment. The key and the manager was ready
when we checked in at 8:30pm. Everything was neatly explained, including
maps , taxi etc. The place is an excellent location and walkable for
most of the sights.
Fantastic location- just a few minutes walk from the metro and key sites in Rome.

Downstairs bed (couch) is not the most comfy - our 3 children were happy with it though.

The mian doors were quite heavy to pull, lock and keys quite old
fashioned and complex for old people to understand.
Nothing really for us, but just a note the bathroom and shower space was very small. Both of us are quite fit so we were ok, but I question the suitability of the space for someone with mobility issues, someone that is very tall or may be a little bigger.

Once they had our cash, that was it. Stained bed sheet wasn't replaced despite sending e-mail. Welcome pack said we could leave bags with staff on day we left but this was refused - instead we were told to leave them at the railway station where the queue was as long as a city block. Pull out bed was a fairly uncomfortable sofa bed. Location of apartment was very dubious for all but blokes who could probably handle themselves.
