Location - the hotel is across the road from the Palatine Hill (however entrance is on the other side) - we had a great room view of it and it certainly gave you a sense of the history unique to Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable (beds we hard if you like that). We checked in early (1100) and the staff was very accomodating. Room was good size and very clean. Great room rate in January. Staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our initial room was a bit noisy from traffic but they moved us with no problem. Breakfast was exceptional, varied menu selection. Highly recommended!.

When making booking make sure you ask for bath with shower, if you onlyget a shower it is small. Room was a bit noisy - noise coming from outside traffic and people in the hotel corridors.Nothing. It did not have room service or a coffee/tea maker in the room. Also when we didn't want our towels changed to conserve the environment, they would still be changed. Overall it was a great hotel.A fitness/spa/pool would be ideal. the bar area was always empty therefore unlikely to use myself no food available in the evenings .Restaurant fairly pricey and not great choice for dinner or breakfast. The air didn't cool the room sufficiently. a pity that bar facilities are only open between 6-11 PM. Driver overcharged us to get back to the airport: 80 euro for 4 people. Not a dislike, but tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be appropriate for the rating and price of this hotel.

Palatine Hill is the centremost of the Seven Hills of Rome, and one of the most ancient parts of the city. Home to greats of ancient times, the hill derives its name for the word “palace”.
