Giovanni was an unbelievable host. Despit the fact that we were not able to see him face-to-face throughout our 2 night stay! It started by him getting someone to meet us at the accomodation late, since we were arriving outside of the normal hours. Then he advised us to get a taxi from the airport and to pay no more than the fixed €30 fare, and when the crazy taxi driver started to drive off with us and our luggage in the car telling us that she could drop us at a tube station on the edge of th.
all reviews » Fantastic location very close to the Vatican and within walking distance to the major tourist attractions, also the hop on/off bus stop is just around the corner. Lots of amazing authentic restaurants and gelato bars 25m away. Giovanni is a fantastic host!! He was very welcoming and mapped out some good spots to wander and shop, the best food and gelato across the city and some tips on what and when to do and how to get around. The room was a great size and the B&B had a lot of character. The owner was great at responding to me quickly with any inquiries before and during our stay. We had to share a bathroom with one other room and it was a large bathroom and we never had a problem with it. Great location, close to public transport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some English very well. Good breakfast, enough variety, spacious room and the private bathroom was also quite big. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location, the owner is very helpful and friendly, who gave lots of useful advices on what to see and where to go. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I recommend this B&B. The heat in the room - it was 35-40degrees in Rome and the same in the room an air conditioning unit was provided but the aircon didn't work only the fan which isn't very powerful and didn't help at all. Also our room was overlooking the square which is shared by university/college accommodation so it was very loud with lots of people late into the evening, my recommendation take ear plugs to use when sleeping. It was a little difficult to find at first. The curtains are very sheer so it was hard to sleep in the morning and there are buildings close by. It can get very hot with no air con. You can hear your neighbours through the dooors. Nothing at all was bad. Nothing. having to leave. not so good douch, a bit cold in a room. The roof top terrace, was empty and dirty.. Its a shame because there is a nice view and we thought from the description that was usable.
