I loved the personalized service, the clean room. Excellent prices at a boutique hotel in the best part of Rome, surrounded by million Euro apartments, and convenient to all types of shopping, as well as a number of excellent restaurants. I will recommend the Hotel Versailles to anyone visiting Rome and looking to stay in a great part of the city at a budget-conscious price. Very good connection with a downtown and close to Termini metro station - just one stop. The hotel is located in a great Romans area, full of Roman spirit. Hotel Versailles is the best choise for those who are looking for a good price and quality simultaneously!.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. I found the neighborhood to be fantastic, with not to many non-Italian tourists, and some great restaurants. The metro was a bit of a distance, the walk was 10-15. Located outside the historic centre and surrounded by superb restaurants at a great price! Brilliant Gelato shop on the same street. Great staff and room was perfect as a base to explore the delights of Rome. Very Quiet, ambient neighbourhood,Pleasent helpful Staff and Management. Very Clean and Comfortable Rooms. Looking forward very much to returning. It was perfectly located,near all the major attractions and also the train station. The staff were marvellous!. It was well situated with plenty of bus routes for sight seeing old Rome also gave easy access to the Vatican. Very nice and helpful staff. Characterful and friendly, this hotel is just 15 minutes walk from Termini and, with free WiFi, was perfect for my budget-conscious short sightseeing trip. The location was good, 20 minute walk from Termini station. Rooms were a decent size. Staff, cleaning, location with a lots of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Welcoming and sympathy from staff. the owner was friendly, although most of the other staff only spoke italian. there was a great ice cream shop near by. Would like to see an alarm clock and phone in room, although I realize many hotels are going to the practice of no phone, no alarm clock. - Shower curtain allowed a lot of water to spill onto the floor. Take note; There is virtually no signage, just a buzzer on the downstairs door. There was nothing about the hotel itself but there was a beggar woman sitting directly underneath the doorbell so that made access difficult. Parking was a problem but the owner of Versailes arranged parking at a discounted rate. The reception is not open 24h which leads to crazy people ringing the bell repeatedly in the middle of the night. - Shower curtain is not comfortable; - Couldn't check out from the hotel at 7:50 - the staff didn't work at that time (because of it we were almost late for our bus shuttle). uncomfortable shower. Air conditioning wasn't the best. The shower I had next to my room sprayed water from the shower head and pretty much flooded the bathroom. They don't serve a breakfast. A bit pricey for the stile and location of the hotel (although within the average for Rome). the room stank of smoke, and some horrid underlying smell. the towels stank of vinegar. and the rooms wen't very clean. the walls were dirty and the towel rail broken. regarding location, with rome's transport system it can be a serious nightmare to get back home at night if you need to find a night bus or any bus for that matter.
