I am very familiar with Rome and thought this to be an ideal location. Because the area near the Piazza di Spana is my favorite area I was please to find the hotel so near. The price was excellent for the room size. It was far larger than expected. I will use the hotel again and will reccomend it to others. The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly. The property was extremely clean.

They were very helpful with arranging taxis, restaurant suggestions/reservations. They went out of their way to do anything you asked.The location was very convienent to the metro stations as well as in walking distanct to most tourist spots. The staff I met were nice.the location. This question looks like a joke if you talk aboout Hotel Trinità Dei Monti...I would prefer a larger bathroom, but the overall experience was 99.99%. We made this booking over 2 and a half months before the date, when we arrived we were told they were booked up and told they had booked us into another hotel, they didn't provide us a taxi to get to the hotel, just a badly drawn map. Took nearly an hour to find, when it was only 10 mins away! all this while carrying luggage around in the dark in a city we had never been to before!. No air conditioning, window left open at night for coolness and 17 mosquito bites !!!. I had booked a single room and found it to be very small and I was thefirst room next to the reception and breakfast room which meant in theearly hours of the morning I could hear everyone coming and going aswell as the coffee machine during breakfast. street noise unacceptable level. The accomodations were very poor. The hotel was nothing like the pictures on the web site. The location was great. The bathroom door was falling off; the shower had spots of black mold and had a terrible smell. The beds were extemely uncomfortable and it was very noisy. The hotel was booked as every other hotel in the entire city of Rome (we tried to find another place).The bathroom smelt very musty and the room was not very clean. Way over priced for what was provieded.Every time toilet was flushed an unpleasant loud sound followed, the room smelled like there were something faulty with the water draining system, the tv did not work, complaints were not seriously handled. coffee at the breakfast was nescafe. Overall, for 120 euros a night I'd expect much more. I would consider this place expensive even at half the price. it was realy bad joke.
