We loved everything about this hotel. It is located in the perfect location in Rome. About a 5 minute walk to Vatican City as well as the Sistine Chapel. Within walking distance of Spanish Steps, Trivi Fountain and Coliseum. Many excellent restaurants very close by as well as mini- marts with fresh fruit, vegetables as well as grocery items of all kinds. We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay from April 29th to May 3, 2013. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Staff could not have done.
all reviews » The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very well located, you are at walking distance of virtually all landmarks in Rome. If you happen to book a room with a 'veranda', you'd love the fresh air in the morning and the coffee outside. We recommend it for young couples, and solo travellers as well. Just 5-10 min walking to Vaticano and some very good restaurants and cafes in Trastevere... The staff were very funny and friendly... Salvatore is amazing... During the breakfast, the coffee beverages was done by a professional barista and all cappuccinos, coffee, hot chocolate were excellent. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Georgia was particularly friendly and welcoming. Nice breakfast, good location to see the sites and the room was a good size. It suited our needs just fine. The management and staff were fantastic and so welcoming. Calm environment - booked room with a terrace which was good and quiet. Good breakfasts. Would recommend and be happy to stay again and again. Almost all - staff is very friendly and helpfull, location is beatiful, breakfast isn't very rich, but it's like anywhere in Italy. Theis place is silent on weekend - very good for sleeping. The location was great and our window looked out over lovely courtyards with trees and picturesque apartments. The street of hotel is a little bit dark and in a alley that causes a some fear... We had a room with a terrace and the terrace was shabby, not like the pictures show it. It was a bit noisy with the doors open since there was some construction going on outside. But I guess the noise is to be expected in the city. Nothing negative to say. On Monday in thr patio of our room started to work some workshop - a noise was incredible! Staying is good only for weekend!. The decor was a bit old & worn but when we opened the window it didn't matter. Nothing.This hotel is exactly as advertised!. nothing. The hotel was undergoing some repairs- little room in the lobby- perhaps a reason for not offering access to computer for guests. The breakfast was too small - not so many vegetabls. The worst personnel I have ever seen running a hotel, they did not returned my passport when I left the hotel, I had to return to Rome when I became aware of it. It cost me €300 in train tickets, 6 hours in a train, a new night in Rome instead of Bari and lost my airplane tickets €400 because of this mistake, they should have not kept my passport away from me,.
