This b&b is one of the nicest place I have stayed in. The room was the nightswimming room which had a fab jacuzzi bath. The room was spotless and cleaned on a daily basis. The airconditioning was brillant and we hada frigde in thr room and an area with a table to eat our breakfast, the breakfast was left in the everyday which includes crossants , bread, yougharts , freshly made cakes , ham cheese& breadsticks and crackers , rice cakes. Francesco the owner couldn't have been more friendly and provided us with an annotated map straight away so we could find our own way round easily. There is plenty of food provided for breakfast and for snacks later on in the day. A great place to stay if you are looking for clean, simple and friendly accommodation at a great price. The location is really handy being close enough to walk to the station and to the colosseum, or to nearby metro stat. An amazing oasis in the middle of a very busy yet breathtaking city. The owners couldn't be more helpful and so welcoming. Its like having your own apartment in the city, there are 3 or 4 restaurants a stones throw from the Daysleeper. The snacks & drinks provided in the room were great and plentyful...but the nicest touch was the home made pastries, which were divine. I've been recommending this B&B to everyone since I came back. Excellent owner!!! The room was very clean and comfortable with all of the things we could have asked for. The bathroom was cleaned daily, and our snacks/breakfast items were restocked. We would recommend this place, and would definitely stay there again. The owner is obviously there to serve and make your stay the best. We felt very comfortable and he was always available!! A+++. We had one instance where the room wasn't cleaned but this was just an oversight by the cleaner and Francesco soon replaced the food ready for breakfast so was no problem. Nothing...I'd quite happily come back to Daysleeper B&B in a heartbeat. Nothing everything was great!. Nothing. Nothing! Maybe not located in the middle of the city center. But close to the metro station, so no big issue. The area is slightly dodgy at night. It is located near the train station. When you first arrive and don't know your way around it is quite annoying to walk to the hotel from the train station. But after you arrive, the staff will point you to a nice quiet road so that you can avoid the station. The location is around 10 mins walk from the termini station but the owner is very nice to suggest to use another tube station to let me travel easier. Food (bread, mini cakes, cheese, ham) and drinks(coffee capsules, teabags ) of breakfast is all at the room, and actually need to 'cook' (with a toaster and coffee machine) yourselves. No hydromassage pool as in the pictures. Anticipated and not agreed payment directly on the credit card.could hear noise from trams beginning early AM. "Breakfast" was a bunch of packaged junk food. Getting from street to room required 4 separate keys- #1 to get access to a dim, dirty courtyard area; #2 to leave courtyard into a dim stairwell with an ancient, tiny cage elevator; #3 to get into the Daysleeper "lobby", and finally #4 to get into room. No kidding. Would be acceptable for a $50/night ultra budget option, but not a good value at what we paid.
