+ (Location - 5) The nearest garden with marvelous viewpoint is really good place for walking. As well as embankment, Vatican City and Castle snt Angelo. Supermarket, Post office and Bus station not far from the hotel (5-7 minutes walking). + (Service - 5) *strong WiFi signal with rather high speed, *breakfast is really good: tasty coffee, porridge, corn flakes and e.t.c., cheese, ham, fruits, eggs + (Value - 5) Quality + Cost - not bad configuration for not very long stay in the city and usi.
all reviews » We liked the fact that we were so close to everything. We took the bus in from the airport and walked to the hotel. We took the train to the cruise port- the station was just up the hill and over a bit. We are walkers and were able to walk through most of Rome during our stay. The breakfast was great and the staff were also great. Would recommend your hotel to our friends. Staff very helpful and pleasant (do speak English), room clean with daily servicing & private bathroom, free WiiFi in the room incredibly fast, breakfast had many choices- not a typicjal continental. Location couldnt be better! Vatican across the street, train/bus station directly behind the hotel, grocery/restaraunts/shops in walking distance.... The staff was very friendly. The location can't be beat. A short walk to St Peters and close to public transportation for the other sights. Free wifi. Nice breakfast. Overall i would recommend the hotel to friends together with advice to pay additional attention in paying process. No negatives, just keep in mind its a European hotel- dont expect American accomadation. Beds are small and single (double room = two beds), shower is small, no tv/fridge/coffee maker.... Lights on the wall very powerful as in a twin room you are both looking directly at them. Shower and beds a bit small for taller people. You get what you pay for so if you are expecting four stars this is not the place for you. It is best described as an up-market hostel with private bathrooms. It had the feel that it may be catholic run but this was never declared. We didn't have a problem with this. Found it a little difficult to find but the locals were friendly and knew where it was when we asked. Room was a bit spartan and shower was small. Little inconveniences compared to the great location. We should walk for 20 minutes to the nearst metro station, it was not very convenient to visit the historical center of Rome. The soundproofing of the room was not good. We could hear our neighbors talking in the midnight. However, you got very tired after a whole day's visit, then you could ignore the noise and fall asleep quickly. Harsh wall light. In a twin room you are directly facing this light. Check out time of 10am. Walls are fairly thin so it can be noisy (but earplugs solved that). nothing. Room size was small for the size of the bed which made it difficult to move around. too noisy. The most I don't like is hotel doesn't have F&B outlets for lunch and dinner. Booklet rack did not contain any free small booklets and maps showing bus routes, train routes or nearby bus stops or small booklets such as very basic tourist guides. The booklets/leaflets don't have to be big, just informative. - City reachable only by bus - Rooms not sound proof. It was hard to find once you where on the street. Incosistent wifi. Little room, uncomfortable bathroom, noize on street on morning and evening. Small room for family. Unfortunately you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. The daytime staff lacked local knowledge and were a bit unwilling to help when we asked basic questions about transport etc. I would like you to inform the clients from the page you have on the internet about the transfer to the hotel. Thin walls. Very noisy hotel, very small room, bad breakfast. The staff was not very friendly. Even when we smiled and said "Bon Giorno" they hardly responded. They didn't give us an overview of the accomodations when we checked in, so we had to discover things on our own. The rooms are VERY small and the shower is even smaller - if you were a larger person I doubt you could fit inside. the attitude of the staff very unfriendly. I had only three nights there.
