The Arcangelo is the only 3-star hotel of the area provided with a free outdoor parking. A garage is also available nearby. Communal areas are elegant, and the rooms all come with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby. A generous sweet and savoury buffet is served daily in the breakfast room or directly in your room. Drinks are served on the terrace. In the surrounding residential area you will find great shopping streets and numerous cafés and restaurants. The Vatican is a 10-minute walk away, as is Piazza Navona, across the river.

The location was perfect for visiting the Vatican, fine restaurants, shopping, bus routes, and the concierge was very helpful and friendly. Airport transportation was arranged for us as well as restaurant reservations. The solarium on the roof was very relaxing and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Hotel Arcangelo was the best deal of our entire vacation. Alfonso was wonderful in arranging for airport transportation. He also was great in suggesting restaurants, providing directions and making our stay pleasant. Vatican City was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Rome Center and our experience was better than many of the other reviewers.

Do not advertise a bar when it isn't open (at 9.00pm!).We arrived in pouring rain and asked for whether there was a bar. We were told we had a mini bar in our room - later we found the bar!. Only that the website is not absolutely clear about bar facilities and there are no facilities throughout the day for tea/coffee or a light snack.Unfortunatelly there are some issues they have to resolve.The parking is inside the hotel but the space is not enought.we had to live the car keys to the reseption because if someone before me wanted to live they had to move all the vehicles.they told us that our visa card had a problem and they made us pay in cash.After 10 minutes I lived hotel i fulled up my car with gas by using the same card. The hotel is a little outdated.There was a strong smell of waste water coming out of the bathroom. They tried to give me a lesser value room than I ordered, thank heavens I had printed out my reservation, and we got that corrected.Possibly the bedrooms could do with a set of drawers for ourunderwear,also the wardrobes need some new coathangers. As the ones innow are old and fall off the rail. Staff could have been a little more friendly/helpful.I really don't have any complaints, I think I'll definitely try to stay there again if I'm lucky enough to go back to Rome again. I think for the price that was offered at bookiing.com at the time it was $119 a night, you really can't beat that deal in Rome. The breakfast was in the basement and not on the beautiful garden terrace.It was a shame the bar wasn't open but considering the time of year it was understandable. the room is faraway from that one, you are on your advertising site, otherwise, all goog and clean. tea/coffee making facilities in room would have been good. They're coffee at breakfast was not very good, however, they will prepare espresso as an alternative to their brewed coffee.We thought the bathrooms could do with updating and maybe the toilets and plug holes in the sink nd bath could do with a good clean!. It is a shame that the roof top bar and facility is not used/open more..The cleanliness level of the room could be rised ; the ratio ''value/money'' is not totally in favour of the client (only , maybe, 80-85 % in favour of the client). The air conditioner was not capable of handling the 35 degrees we had in Rome and the safe was broken down. Only dissapointment was: The terrace-bar was not in use (tough you could go there by your self, but there was no activity).
