The hotel benefits location near Termini Station that can be reached in 5 minutes walking. I would reccommend it to anyone who would like to spend a few days in cosy , relaxing and even romantic atmosphere. Rooms were very clean and staff extremely friendly and helpful.All the interesting sites are two stops away from the hotel. The Alpi Hotel had great location, just 5 minutes walk from termimi train station. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was perfect with good selection, staff were very friendly. There was a lovely garden terrace where quiet drinks could be enjoyed. Would certainly reccommend a stay here.

Hotel is within five minutes walk of the underground station, and half an hour walk to main attractions.The room and the fact we were able to leave our bags at the hotel all day while we looked around Rome and we were able to pick them up that evening before we took our train to Florence. I really liked the staff that make you really confortable with the hotel and the city. Staff were friendly and the room was well appointed, if a bit small. And, whenI did fill it for myself, I discovered the jacuzzi didn't work anyway -Very disappointing.it is a bit out if you want to walk around Rome, you have to use public transport to access places of interest. As we were familiar with Rome we knew that we were near Termnini and would have a good 20 min walk into the centre. This did not bother us, but may be something for other guests to consider.It was hard to connect internet by my note book computer. roomservice was never evailable. No complaints here. The first room we were given was dungeon-like, but when we asked for a room with more natural light, we were quickly moved, and without any fuss. Music on TV should be free of charge. everything is fine. i needed internet but it is on the tv and doesnt work fine, but you"re on vacation, so !. Internet is not free, elavator is small and slow. Some people at reception seemed to have "interesting" attitude to customer service.breakfast could start earlier... some of the room's walls are slightly dirty.internet system has to be improved. Our room was located on a floor that could only be accessed by a combination of stairs, one elevator and another strange kind of "dumb waiter" lift. It was quite claustrophobic and I hate to think what would happen if there was a fire.The bathroom was very cold, as there was no heating. Toilet seat was broken and the refrigerator did not work very well. noisy surroundings (but one could expect this when it is so close to the main railway station...), smelly (but clean) bathroom. There was a heavy smell of mildew in the room. Probably because the large tub had an extendable shower nozzle, but no shower curtain. I can see how an ample amount of water can get outside the tub if you want to shower instead of bathe.I thought some of the reception staff could have been a little more friendly and helpful. tyhe fact that there was no iron available ridiculoue in this day and age. The sink didn't work and I couldn't use it. i had agood price for that hotel i wouldn't have pay more for that kind of an hotel.

Here are some options for you to reach us from
"Fiumicino" (Leonardo da Vinci airport).
1) After a long flight, a quick way to reach our hotel is by a direct express train. It departs every hour and the travel will take 30 minutes to reach "Termini" Railways Station. We are five minutes walk away
2) The most confortable way to travel is by taxi, travel time varies from 30 to 40 minutes depending on the traffic. The cost should be around €40 €60. For your own safety we recomend the use of the white or yellow taxis only.

By train:
From the front of "Termini Station" cross the bus depot and turn right along the "Via Solferino" which goes into "Piazza Indipendenza", the hotel is located in the far left hand corner.
