  We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc. The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel as it would be difficult to find initially. Above all we were so imp... what people say » ressed with the staff. They were always helpful and attentive. In fact as soon as we would arrive in reception they would leave whatever work they wer - Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

Total relaxation both at La Forrsteria and at the nearby private beach. Fabulous food and the most attententive and friendly staff who did all they could to make you feel welcome and at home. Very personal and wonderful experience. Worth every penny!
