  From the harbor we were picked up by the hotel. On arrival we got a drink, and our luggage was directly sent to our room. We got an upgrade to a room with sea view. The hotel has a great outdoor pool, and is well maintained. The hotel has two on site restaurant which are good. The hotel has a nice SPA. You really get the feeling they want to do ... what people say » everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a free shuttle into town like every 45 min Overall a very pleasant stay. Would reco - The location and view are exceptional.

  We liked our stay at this very nice Agriturismo. The Agriturismo Don Mauro is located in a quiet area and surrounded by lemon trees. Our room was large enough and convenient. The breakfast was very tasteful with fresh products. We also liked the nice brand new swimming pool. We especially liked the hospitality of the owners. They really make you f... what people say » eel like home. The are more than willing to give you advice about exploring the area and they speak English, German and of course Italian fluently. We - The place is out of the village which is a great to enjoy "silence of the nature". Room was fitting to the our needs - good is a clockroom where to you can store all your laguagues. Owner (Toni) speaks fluently enghlish / german and is a very good source of information - he was very helpfull. You can also buy food in nearby shop or pasticeria and eat at home.

  I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up before the Ger... what people say » mans. It has a lot of space, but that comes at a price. Be aware that it is not v close to any town and it can be hard to find, even with a satnav. - the weather, beautiful designed hotel

The desk personnel are very helpfull with giving good advice on where to eat (pippito) and what to visit in the surroundings (Aci Trezza). Good connection to Catania if you are driving a car. Take care to take a swimming cap with you for the georgeous pool. - Large and luxury apartment of 80 sqm fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer. Air conditioning very good, staff responsible for very sweet and friendly. The hotel´s motto very good and surprisingly occasionally. A bit expensive but great value for money. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.
