  The Ariston is a really great hotel to stay in, this was my second time staying here and it will be the place I stay everytime I return to Rome. The best thing about this hotel is that it is comfortable but the Staff are what make this hotel special, they are really friendly and go out of their way to make your stay here really great.   Rooftop Bar and Terrace was excellent. Reception Staff extreemly helpfull, they provided maps and information and spoke good English. Bar staff very efficient, helpfull and friendly. Hotel upgraded our room because we stayed 6 nights and the view from bedroom window was wonderfull as it looked directly over the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The hotel is close to the Termini station, so it was easy to get to when coming from the airport. I was also pleasantly surprised that we got to stay in a suite. Everyone was very nice and everyone spoke English. They also had a great breakfast spread. This was the nicest of the three hotels I stayed in while visiting Rome.
