  I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. The hotel is close to the center, so it's easy to get... what people say » to the beach for sunbathing, shopping or taking the ferry. The local bus stops almost directly in front of the hotel. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water.   Beautiful views from the terrace. Very friendly staff - It was hassle-free, relaxing, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Access to the beach path, via the lift, meant that the town/harbour/ main beach areas could be reached in 5 minutes, otherwise it was 15 minutes by the main road. This was a big plus for this hotel.

  Hotel Bougainville was a fabulous ending to a 2 week stay in Italy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were bright, spacious and clean. Location was great, not too far from the beach. Would defintetly stay here again!! - Marella, Simon and Luigi were so helpful - always went out of their way to help you.   Everything, the room was excellent with a large veranda and excellent views. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, we will be going back in the future. - I loved the hotel and the view is stunning! We even received a personal welcome greeting with a bottle of champagne!

  We were 2 couples travelling and just loved our stay at Hotel Pupetto. All the staff were extremely friendly particularly 'Mino' and made our stay very enjoyable. Great food at the restaurant.   I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating the owners of this hotel were. It is a family run hotel which in turn treats all their guests like family.
