Very friendly staff.Room with a balcony.Seaview. The friendliness and welcoming nature of the staff. Also, their excellent cooking. The dinning area is their strong point....lovely atmosphere and obviously a favor with the locals. Also, the situation of the hotel on the Lake is fantastic.Quite. its position in the locality. the view from the room, a large bed. Excellent location. Location...View!!. Setting by lake. the service. The hotel's restaurant was great. People were very friendly. leaving. Only the view to the lake. The bed sheets were clean and it had a roof.location. nothing. The bathroom needed to be restored. Just that the hotel is under renovations...so that always makes a place more dusty and unappealing. The hotel does need renovating on a big scale.....but it is clean and quiet.No internet. poor soundproofing, no breakfast available before 7.30. At the website we were not able to reserve a room for 4, so we reserved 1 room for 3 and 1 room for 1. When we got to the hotel the room we got was for 4, and still had to pay 2 different rooms. Dificulty getting taxis.the surounding and outside apperance. Yes. The bathrom was not clean during the two days. There was an ashtray full of cigarrettes when we opened the balcony. All the windows were dirty.the smell of the room, the location as on border with customs, the room as very old. the worst hotel i ever stayed.The hotel is very small, dirty and poorly built. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything that your neighbors are doing or saying, and there is hardly any privacy. The shower is horrible, with hardly any water coming out, and looks like it was poorly fixed. The beds are uncomfortable and stiff.. the entire hotel is simply not pleasant to stay in. disaster. we didn't have cold (!) water in the bathroom (we went to the swimming pool in Lugano to have a shower) the air conditioning didn't work and it was really hot. although the breakfast was acceptable (well, when you went early you had to eat the bread of the das before) it wasn't alloud to take it on the terrace near the lake but inside in the basement! third bed was for children (booked: 3 adults).
