  The staff was wonderful, very accommodating and the food was incredible - Staff were friendly even after a mix up with the Laundry service and the hotel was clean and nice. Location is a bit out of the way but with a car it's manageable. We did day trips to the area. If you like driving hairpin corners this is the location for you!

There is also a pool where I spent some relaxed days! If you dont have a car and come by train, I would advice to take a Taxi! The Hotel is up on a hill and per pedes its very exhausting to get there! The town itself is a good place to stay, if you like to be amoung italians! The most tourists are in Sorrento....

The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not verynice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views.   I absolutely loved my stay at Il Pettirosso. Set in the mountains behind the Amafli Coast, it's a true haven away from the main tourist towns.
