  Absolutely loved Hotel Castello Miramare. I stayed in a single bed room at the top of one of the towers. The room was a very decent size with a desk, large single bed and adequate bathroom with a great shower. The room was clean and had two windows, both looking directly out on to the beach. It was wonderful to fall asleep listening to the ocean. ... what people say » The staff were very friendly and attentive the breakfast adequate. I read another review that the inside was old and shabby - I disagree with this ent - Very helpful and friendly staff. The location was perfect - right on the beach, and fairly near to Pegli railway station. The breakfast was in a nice little courtyard outside and was fine. Tere was a lovely ceiling fan (as well as air conditioning) in the room.
