  Absolutely loved Hotel Castello Miramare. I stayed in a single bed room at the top of one of the towers. The room was a very decent size with a desk, large single bed and adequate bathroom with a great shower. The room was clean and had two windows, both looking directly out on to the beach. I read another review that the inside was old and shabby - I disagree with this ent - Very helpful and friendly staff. The location was perfect - right on the beach, and fairly near to Pegli railway station. The breakfast was in a nice little courtyard outside and was fine. Tere was a lovely ceiling fan (as well as air conditioning) in the room.
