After staying in backpackers for weeks, Hotel Umbria felt like the Hilton. The decor is not amazing, but it is clean and well kept, with everything you need. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, from which one can easily catch the funiculare (tram) into Orvieto itself. The little restaurant attached to the hotel was exceptional- I had the best meal in all my travels of Italy there. Definitely good value for money!.
