Immersed in Orvieto's protected Archaeological Park, this small B&B is set in a restored farmhouse from the late 1700s. Each guest room has a private patio with views of the Umbrian countryside.
The cablecar up to Orvieto's historic centre is a 5-minute walk from B&B CasaSelita, which is surrounded by olive groves.
Homemade bread, cakes and fruit jams are served for breakfast. The owner varies the menu with Umbrian specialities such as Ricotta cheese with rosemary, according to season.
All guest rooms at CasaSelita have parquet floors, a cooling fan and elegant furnishings. Each room has a TV and private bathroom. Some rooms feature wood-beamed ceilings and air conditioning.
Buses to Orvieto Train Station stop in front of the property. It is an 8-minute drive to the A1 Motorway, and parking is free.

What people say
The owners made you so welcome, they were happy to give local information and took the time to have some interesting conversations with us. Casa Selita is in a wonderful location, so quiet but a walk up the hill through the olive groves then up the hill to the elevators or escalators and you are in wonderful Orvieto.
Breakfast was plentiful and in a lovely setting overlooking the garden.
We really enjoyed the resident cat, it gave the B and B a homely feeling. We hope to return to Casa Selita o. all reviews »
Orvieto is a fine old town with a superb cathedral with many other places to explore nearby. Many good restaurants, esp. Zeppelin and Palomba. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; their advice is excellent. Everything is tastefully decorated. Breakfast is good and ample. The B&B is below the city, and there is a walk through an olive grove to the road. An elevator takes you to the top of the city wall. Highest recommendation.
Beautiful Italian country villa with lovingly designed rooms. The owners and hosts are lovely and will give you lots of tips and information. Breakfast is served in the lovely garden area. Location is great - short 5 minute walk through beautiful olive grove to the base of Orvieto, where you can take an elevator to the street. Nice and quiet, yet close to everything you want to visit. Great value. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!.
We loved the garden like atmosphere and the very comfortable nicely designed home atmosphere of the rooms. A real cottage like feeling set in an olive orchard at the bottom of the cliffs and walls of Orvieto, our favorite hill town. Views are gorgeous and the proprietors very friendly and helpful. Proximity to the elevator/escalator that go to town is very good to have.
What a wonderful place! Incredibly friendly and hospitable hosts. They
could create a home where you want to go back many more times. Wonderful
views of the picturesque hills and Orvieto, a delicious breakfast with
homemade cakes, jams and eggs of their own chickens, very comfortable
rooms, well-kept garden. We will certainly recommend this paradise to
your friends.
CasaSelita is superb. The location is brilliant for visiting Orvieto, especially if you have a car & need car parking. The room was delightfully decorated & very comfortable & our hosts welcoming & hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sharing the breakfast table with our fellow guests. We would certainly stay there again.
I loved the grounds, with the olive trees, grape pergolas, stone facades, and all the flowers. The owners, Enzo and Selita, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast offerings were delicious, and the staff were extremely accomodating. I would recommend Casa Selita to everyone I know.
Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was delightful with a wonderful breakfast on the terrace meeting the other guests overlooking the beautiful garden. Also enjoyed walking up through the olive grove to enter the pretty town of Ovietto.
Selita and Ennio are committed to providing friendly service and
comfort. The setting is lovely, on the hillside just outside Orvieto.
We easily walked to and from the walled city. The room and breakfast
were great.
Everything. Very chic and tasteful. Very comfortable. Close to historic town. Friendly, welcoming hosts.
Would go back again in a flash.
Position, view, very helpful owners, good breakfast. Very clean , well sign posted, parking on site. Well worth booking.
Perfect location. Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful surroundings. I wish we could have stayed longer.
friendly staff, clean comfortable room, close to central sights of the city, great value for the money.
Great place, very nice and helpful owners. Great value for money.
Great location, beautiful building and gardens.
Nice place with wonderful garden and people.
A bit hard to find as GPS didn't recognize street address, but people of the town know the place. Also, contact by phone for directions.
There is not a single thing I did not like!.
That we were only staying for one night.
In summer it's a hot steep climb to reach the base of Orvieto, though only a few hundred meters.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise lovely.
