  The staff was welcoming and friendly - even before checking in, they offered information per email on what to do and see. Excellent location to view Etna - fresh air - short walk to the cableway. The room with a terrace is highly recommendable - it gave us a great view both to the sea and to the mountain. I recommend half board; the dinner alternatives were varied, the servings plentyful and the food was just v - Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna. We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay. The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.

  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.
