  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.   Although we booked for 2 nights for a hotelroom with seaview we stayed in one of the three cozy and modern Huts, behind the hotelbuilding, situated in a beautiful garden. The Huts are small, but for us it was no problem. We were the only guests and enjoyed the quiet swimming pool with great views on the Etna and the coastal area. They speak very well English and provided us with all the information you need to visit an unkno - Great location at the edge of lovely town Nicolosi, and on the road to Mount Etna (15 minutes to the lift). The owner's couple were friendly and very helpful for our trip to the top of Etna. Tip: leave the hotel at 08:30, so you take the earliest lift to the top and enjoy the morning sun. Later in the day it gets cloudly. There are three clean, modern and spacious rooms in the basement and four wooden cottages in the garden. Nice pool with stunning view and a professional tennis court.
