B&B Elyse - Photos
What people say
This intimate B&B is bright and cheery.
Elyse doesn't speak English but is so friendly, warm and welcoming. She is just next door and urges you to knock if you need anything at all.
The beds boast beautiful crisp clean linens which are probably hand sewn.
There is a little grocery store a few doors down if you need food or necessities.
The town is small so nothing is far away...banks, restaurants, pharmacies, beach, groceries etc. The path to the National Park where you can hike to the tow. all reviews »
Elyse was the sweetest lady!! We arrived in a downpour, and she greeted us with slippers, and hung our coats. She was very welcoming and accommodating. Great location. Quaint and very clean room. Highly recommended!!.
Elyse was lovely, her rooms were very clean. She doesn't speak much English, but still gets her point across.
The location was fantastic, right in the old town. The town is just gorgeous!!.
Elyse was such an angel. It was very obvious she takes great pride in her establishment. The room and bathroom were spottless! I would definitely stay there again.
- The owner is really friendly and relaxed. Even she just speaks Italian.
- The room and bathroom was really clean and tidy. The beds were pretty comfortable.
Spacious, clean and the land lord was absolutely precious. She was a gem, ensured we had a good stay and enjoyed ourselves. Accommodations were excellent.
Very nice place, good location, breakfast is in the bar nearby (just coffee and cake of choice, not a lot but very tasty).
The location is conveniently located near parking & in a quieter part of town, but still close to everything.
I loved the village, the location of the B & B, the security, & the owner was wonderful:).
The room was very very clean and comfortable.
clean and tidy. The room was very clean and bigger than the four star hotel room we had gotten in Venice which was surprising. Elyse didn't speak much English but she made it very clear to us that should we have any problem at all, we could wake her up for help, no matter the time. .
THE room was verf clean. THE location in THE middle of THE centre.
Nothing.
We were fine and fit travelers would be, but if you have trouble with stairs, this is located 3 flights up stairs in a town where you already have to make your way up, up and up to get to the B&B.
The lady at the bakery was not very friendly to us, but it was free and still really tasty.
Maybe a little expensive for what it is, but it seems that it is par for the location.
- Could be pretty noisy because of the road. Specially in high season.
- It is a bit expensive.
No elevator.
The staff didn't speak english. You had to pay in cash upon arrival which wasn't listed in the listing. There also wasn't any soap or shampoo in the shower which we weren't expecting. Fortunately, Elyse was nice enough to let us borrow some of hers but she let us know that wasn't the norm. The breakfast the next day was good but very simple and the Bar where it was was difficult to find (although a local was nice enough to show us the way after asking for directions 3 different times). .
Very expensive for what you get. A bath with shower but the boiler was too small voor 2 showers. The teafacility in the room was poor: 3 thebags voor 2 days en no fresh teacups the next day. The breakfast was outside in e typical Italian bakery which was very okee, but again very poor: only 1 cup of coffee and 2 bread. If you want moor you have to pay extra. What a poorness for the price per night of 140 euros. It's a shame en we shouldn't recommend is to anybody.
The place was filthy, the food atrocious, and the B&B was poorly run and managed and extremely over priced.
