I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the politness of the staff. Close to the city centre and transportation.Was a nice simple hotel. Very helpful staff. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. They are prepared withevery thing they guests need: information, Venice cards, maps, etc.Modern clean room in a good location. all reviews » I liked that you could park your car for 8 euro per day. That was cheaper than the parking on the street. It was a close enough walk to and from the bus stops.location. close to bus stops, shopping center and other facilities.It was quite well located, Venice was not hard to get to on the bus, the stop being just around the corner. Good restaurants close by in the Piazza. Likeable and very gentile employees.The staff were very helpful. Had clean bathroom and room, free a/c, staff were helpful and friendly.To be honest not a lot, the best part of staying at Hotel Aurora was the roof top solarium which gave great views of the surrounding area and it was tranquil to relax there. We found just in place that the continental breakfast was not includedin the price. Even though its price was acceptable, it is still a falseinformation on boking.com. Sound insulation was not good. You could hear other guests walking, using their rooms, closing doors, etc. although you couldn't hear talking or TVs. The air conditioning system was turned off so you couldn't turn on the fan to drown out the noise. The night clerk provided a floor fan, which helped. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking, and definitely was not. Also, "breakfast included" means a croissant, coffee, and juice. You have to pay extra if you want the fruit, meat, eggs, etc.No hotel bar/Resturant. it has the minimum of comfort: bed, closet and bathroom.The internet connection was poor, the shower was tiny and the whole place needs a lot of TLC. Some of the staff didn't speak English which made for interesting communications. The bed cover was very old and staind. Hotel location was not very ideal, also although the room was clean, there were marks on the walls. The staff were not very friendly, and had a very poor concept of the English language which made acquiring information regarding tourist attractions or travel information very stressing. The Hotel Aurora lacked atmosphere and ambiance which creates the warmth and comfort that Hotels should have, ensuring a pleasant stay and a memorable one. I will not be recommending Hotel Aurora.

Travelling information

From the highway, follow the ‘Tangenziale’, exit ‘Via Castellana’. At the roundabout follow signs to the centre. You will pass on a flyover, after that follow signs to the hospital. Go straight, at the stop you will have to turn left. Go straight for another 300 meters. The hotel is located on the left, in P.tta G. Bruno.
IMPORTANT; the hotel is located in a limited traffic area, but our guests have the right to access it.

From Venice by car, drive on the flyover 'San Giuliano'. Afterwards you will enter Viale S.Marco. After km 4.5, and 2 traffic lights, you will arrive in the city centre. At the crossing between Viale San Marco and via Colombo go straight to the traffic limited area. After 300 meters on your right, you will find Hotel Aurora.
IMPORTANT; the hotel is located in a limited traffic area, but our guests have the right to access it.

From Venice by bus: n. 2 to Piazzale Roma, stop Via Torrebelfredo (behind the hotel) after 20 minutes.

From the railway station catch n. 20/21 to the centre and stop in Via San Rocco; you will find Hotel Aurora, just the opposite.
You might also catch n. 2, 3, or 15, and stop in Via Torrebelfredo, (behind the hotel).

From Venice airport Marco Polo; bus n. 15 stop in Via Torrebelfredo. A taxi ride will cost you about EUR 20 (ask the driver before)
