The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They allowed use to keep our room as we had a late flight and also provided us with a free calendar and ceramic plaque of Lucca. The staff are always extra friendly, and give me a warm welcome. Also the variety of foods at the breakfast was excellent including boiled eggs and cold meats and cheese, as well as the usual pastries and cereal. I also love the using the European linen bath sheets instead of big bulky towels.
