The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke
English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get
one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby
restaurants. Their recommendation for Scaletta restaurant was spot on,

the staff was very friendly and polite. breakfast was good for us. i travelled with my mom and she enjoyed having breakfast in their green well maintained terrace, may be not enough for male travellers but for us it was more than ok. in walking distance to most sights. at first it was hard for us to find it so i would recommend to write them and ask for directions paying closer attention to how manyy blocks and which streets to pass once you get off the bus near the bridge. rooms are as simple

A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. One thing we really appreciated who travelled in December is also the heating and comfort of the place. I've been staying in many places in Italy where it's been cold inside in that time of the year. the location was fabulous and we felt very safe there. We were in walking distance of most of the tourist attractions and also close to transport. Plenty of cafes right on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this Inn and this area. -

This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought). This one is an "A Plus" one.
Nice, clean, charm.
Rates are more than reasonable.
Excellent location.
