  Marco waited 2 hours beyond the check-in time and greeted us with a smile. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is at a restaurant next to Sante Croce which is approx a 5 minute walk and it is totally worth it. We had a very nice decorated and designed room, with a large matrimonial bed. Everything was great. This place is an apartment with 5 or 6 rooms. also 3 or 4 rooms outside the apartment but in the same floor. but this does not cause any problem.   Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. Buffet breakfast was simple and very nice. Room was clean and facilities were more than we required (internet etc). We will be recommending to our friends. - The size of both the bedroom and bathroom and the charm of this historic building. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. Claudio was very helpful in answering all our questions. Having free interent access was great for additional research while in Italy and checking in with family.

  The location was great. Just far enough from the city center to be quiet at night. Only a 25 minute walk to the train station. A kitchen was great to have especially with kids. We could bring home leftovers and the kids could eat them later. Free parking right next to the apartment. It had to still be cleaned but Sara gave me the key - - The room was very cozy, nice and clean. - Location is perfect!   My friend and I travelled to Florence for 4 days in March this year. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stanze del David. The welcome and hospitality were superb. It is very clear that they want their guests to have the best and most comfortable experience possible. The location is top and though in the very heart of Florence the street noise is minimal. The entire B&B is impeccably clean and elegantly decorated, I felt like a princess in my room!   La Farina is a lovely place to stay at while on vacation in Florence. Staff is helpful, welcoming, and multilingual. The apartments are in close proximity to the metro station and staff will gladly call you a cab/taxi - that arrives within 3 minutes guaranteed - if you need to go to a site that requires access by taxi/cab. We were given the best ... what people say » advice for making the most our vacation in Florence, including recommendations for the best sights and the place to have a truly Tuscan meal, the Ta - I really liked the space and the facilities, especially the laundromat (paid) and car park (free). The apartment was well furnished and was extremely comfortable for us. It was also in a safe neighborhood, though it's not very near the city central (approximately 15-20mins walk to most locations). The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It's clearly states that check-in ends at 7pm, however due to some delays on the roads, we only managed to reach by 715pm, but they waited for us anyway.

  The location is excellent, we lived in a spacious room with window facing the street, but it is very quiet during night. We can spot Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore from our window. We had a very good sleep. We are really glad to recommend it! P.S. The city map the owner gave us was very useful (more so than the map attached to our XXX guide boo... what people say » k, which is so general and inaccurate, maybe it is just about the planet as its name may indicate... ) - A LOVELY B&B situated right downtown. Located 3 minutes from the Duomo and 2 minutes from the Galleria Accademia, it's the perfect place to stay in Firenze. Despite it's centrality, the rooms face the inner courtyard and is very quiet. Federico, the host is extremely helpful, considerate and kind. I'm coming back in September and will be staying here again!
