Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. Buffet breakfast was simple and very nice. Room was clean and facilities were more than we required (internet etc). Good security and we also found it to be a quiet location also. We will be recommending to our friends.

From the train station S. M. Novella:
We are at 15 minutes walk.
Take the main street in front of the train station called “Via Dei Panzani”, the way to the “Duomo” cathedral of Florence. Once you are in front of it, get on the back from the right hand side. Continue straight by “Via dell’Oriuolo” , take the first street to your left “Via Folco Portinari”. At the end (50 meters) turn left on “Via Bufalini”. We are located at n°1 in front of the pharmacy.

Taxi services operate all hours from outside the train station. 3 minutes ride.

From Florence Airport:
We are at 20 minutes ride.
Taxi services from outside the airport operate from early morning until the last flight. The approximate fare may vary.

From Pisa Airport:
We are at 1 hour and 10 minutes by train approx.
