  Catia was there to greet us and looked after us on a very personable level. The hotel was amazing. For us it had the best view in Rome. It was like being inside the Colesseum we were so close. I am also a really fussy traveller and I'm never satisfied with anything due to having a life in the top hotels due to work. S - Well... we had the view- so there wasn't much more to focus on! It was so easy to find from the metro and the um huge site right outside the doors. This hotel is above a restaurant with the same name. We got a key to enter through the side whenever we wanted. We were on the third floor (they'd say second in Italy) with stairs, but it was no problem for us. The room was huge and I could have held a party in that bathroom. The shower was amazing. The a/c was one of the strongest in my experience.

  Location was great, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early well before check in and they made sure our room was ready within an hour.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We were also able to check out very late as there was no one needing the room immed... what people say » iately after us. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of t - Location is great! Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.
