  We were positively surprised when we saw our room, it was much bigger than any ordinary three/four stars hotel, everything was clean, nicely designed. The bathroom is separated from the room, but it's just across the corridor, with everything you need. We were very satisfied to stay there, the Place is quiet, close to colosseum(from Domus Carmanello we walked basically - We arrived late and the owners were fine for us to check in late. They were both very friendly and gave us lots of info and the best ways to get around. The hotel is walking distance from the colosseum and roman forum and is also right next to Saint Giovanni metro for people who would prefer not to walk. Beautiful San Gi - Simone, the caretaker was very hospitable and went extra miles to help us from trip planning, restaurant recommendations, and even kept our luggage after check-out hours. The location was very safe, at the center of shopping centers, supermarkets, and easily accessible to various tourist attractions (e.g. Colosseum, San Giovanni Cathedral, etc).   Despite a death in the immediate family, the proprietors at the B&B made sure their guests were welcomed with friendliness, maps, and suggestions for restaurants. You have everything you need in the room, especially for a traveler that leaves in the morning and comes back in the evening every day. Breakfast was a lot of sweet stuff.
