  We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! Located right in the heart of Rome - literally 5min walk or less from the Colosseum and so close to everything else it was perfect - we walked everywhere! Though if you need the Metro is right there. Great location with a nice square with a fountain around the corner and a view over colosseum. Nearby alot of sightseeing and a Metro station around the corner. 15 min walk to Termini. The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet. Comfortable beds and alot of space. We were in the suite so we also hade a fridge and a little pentry. Good cleaning eve

  Wonderful hotel. Clean, modern and extremely comfortable. Silvia and Gabriele are extremely friendly hosts, and are as knowledgeable of the local area as you can be.   Had a wonderful time in Rome, Duca d`Alba was faultless, excellent friendly staff, location was 1 minute away from Cavour metro station. The Colosseum was a 10 minute stroll. Breakfast had everything to set you up for a full days sightseeing. First time we visited Rome this area was a 45 minute bus and train ride away. - The breakfast was fantastic... what people say » .   We visited Soggiorno Downtown late October. What a lovely bed&breakfast! The room was nice (very Italian in decoration), and clean with a good shower. Breakfast was nothing fancy but very good and enough for the first hours of walking that is inevitable when you want to see Rome properly.   Great location. Can walk just about every where except to the Vatican which is a bit far. But very close to the metro (5 min). Close to restaurant. More of a local area (vs very touristic area). Room very clean and big enough for 3 people. Breakfast is good. People are helpful although they do not speak a lot of English. Very convinient and has beautiful decoration. You can use the terrace all day and night, romantic, perfect for couples or even for group of friends. The hotel is very quiet at night even though there is a bar close by. It certainly is a good choice. I would stay there again.
