The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train. Trieste is quite small so nothing really too far. I paid the same per night in Rome, Hotel Altavilla, and comparing Hotel Milano to there is like a 5 ... what people say » to a 1 star. If i ever return to trieste, without any doubt i will book in at Hotel Milano. - Surprisingly very Comfortable rooms, although lobby and buulding itself seemed to be rather old and little untidy.
