The staff were excellent, very friendly. They were happy to call up a restaurant for me and book a table. I also heard them calling an airline office for another guest to change their flights. The hotel itself is basic but very clean and within a short walk to both the city centre, the sea front & the train / bus station. Good location, near the rail and bus stations, on foot distance of sights of the town. Christina and her colleague at the front desk are very helpful and smiling. The pictures in letsbookhotel.com are realistic.

Hotel has good location: near to city center, near to train and bus station. Rooms are clear. Breakfast is very good. Fruits were included in breakfast. Trieste is a beautiful combination of city and sea front. Good restaurants catering for wide variety of tastes. Is well located and the Wifi works well. Large rooms, but with relatively small narrow windows. - breakfast time too early (7 to 9). Mattrass a little too hard but it depends on what you like!. Just to have had one of the 100 or so TV channels in English would have been good. Nothing. Cleanliness can be improved. There is a table and a chair that could be used to work with notebook PC, but there is no electrical outlet closer that 4m. However the staff was kind enough to let me have a cable to use the outlet on the opposite wall. furniture is old, rooms are dark, there are no fresh air in the room, but conditioner works. Hotel was in excellent location, very clean, good facilities but we feel that the price was rather over the top for what was really a B&B (£65.00/night), not hotel. i.e. no food/snacks available other than at breakfast. Telephone in bedroom didn't seem to work properly (had to visit Reception to make call in the end). Really small room, veeery poor breakfast, just some sweets and coffee and a bit noisy.
